Helloooo Pink Ladies!!! How’s the Christmas shopping proceeding?! This year I’ve been pretty good and have almost all my presents sorted out. I don’t know about you but…for me a Christmas tree isn’t complete if there are no presents under the tree soooooooo as soon as we got our tree up I felt the URGE to go buy some presents-----yah I’m crazy like that!!!
Anyway while Christmas shopping I obviously managed to buy some makeup for myself,…plus I did my weekly online shopping so…..let’s get this haul started!
As far as makeup goes I finally had the chance to buy one of Giorgio Armani’s Eyes To Kill eyeshadows. I picked the color #3, which is a purple with gold reflex. BEAUTIFUL! What you see in the pot is exactly what you get when you apply the product on your lid: purple and gold duo chrome. I used it yesterday and will post the pics in my next Look Of The Day post. I have to say, though, that the staying power of this eyeshadow was slightly disappointing: I applied my makeup at around 11:00 AM and by 5-6:00 PM the eyeshadow started looking messy and the duo chrome was completely gone. Anyway I will definitely continue using it, maybe changing my e/s base, and see how it performs. I also purchased YSL Touche Eclat. Repurchased to be exact. I had finish it months ago and I don’t know why I waited so long to buy it again. Well, nothing much to say here, it’s THE under eye concealer/brightner, can’t go wrong.
Last week I also placed an order on Shopbop. I love this website cos it has free international shipping, you receive your parcel in few days, and you pay customs/taxes in advance. Be aware, paying customs is not cheap, but I guess it’s compensated by the free shipping. Anyway, as anticipated last week I ordered another Wildfox beach baggy sweater and…..I just want them ALL!!! I love the one I picked (very Christmassy in a way!) and I got it a size down so it fits perfectly. I also bought a pair of AG jeggings, I love the dark wash and the fact that they are super skinny thight, so ideal if, like me, you live in boots in the winter! Before clicking the checkout button I decided to add a couple of accessories. I’ve been wanting a Rebecca Minkoff pouch for a long time…., since I discovered Lorraine’s channel to be exact! She use to use her’s as a wallet and I fell in love with it ever since. I also added a pair of DVF headphones for two reasons: 1) couldn’t resist the hearts 2) as much as I like Apple products their headphones suck!
Ciao Pink Ladies!!! Come procede lo shopping natalizio?! Di solito io mi riduco ad una corsa al regalo negli ultimi giorni ma quest’anno, stranamente, ho già quasi fatto. E mancano ancora 2 settimane!!! Ovviamente tra un regalo ed un altro sono riuscita a comprare qualcosa per me! Avevo terminato il mio YSL Touche Eclat e quindi l’ho ricomprato, e sono finalmente riuscita a prendere uno dei famigerati ombretti Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill. Ho scelto il colore #3 e mi piace da morire, è un viola con riflessi d’oro e quello che si vede nel vasetto è esattamente ciò che si ottiene sulle palpebre. Vedrete le foto nel prossimo post Look Of The Day. Pultroppo sono rimasta un po’ delusa dalla resistenza del prodotto che dopo 5/6 ore aveva perso brillantezza ed appariva ‘disordinato’ sugli occhi. Comunque continuerò ad usarlo, magari cambiando base, e vi farò sapere.
Ho anche fatto un ordine su Shopbop. Questo sito mi piace molto perché le spese di spedizione sono gratuite, il pacco arriva dopo pochi giorni, e le spese doganali vengono pagate in anticipo. Avrete sicuramente capito che mi sono fissata con le felpe Wildfox ed infatti ne ho ordinato un altro. Troppo carina, ed anche in tono con i colori natalizi! E già che c’ero ho aggiunto nel carello un paio di jeggings, una pochette Rebecca Minkoff e delle cuffie (perché quelle Apple, diciamolo, fanno pietà!).
